JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Plans the internal audit annually.
2. Prepares audit program and itinerary for the internal audit activity.
3. Ensures that the QMS and SMS processes are communicated through orientation to all employees.
4. Reviews and plans the monthly internal, quality and safety audits.
5. Ensures discussion with process owners, or even review of all the findings noted during audit.
6. Ensures compliance with the established internal audit procedure and compliance to basic health, safety and environmental standards.
7. Monitors non-conformance with the auditee’s corrective action plans and its status.
8. Prepares timely, quality, accurate and complete audit summary report.
9. Manages and resolves issues and concerns or escalates to immediate head accordingly.
10. Reports the findings and status during the management review meeting.
11. Involves in the preparation and continuous improvement of the company’s process flow.
12. Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities of the organization.
13. Collaborates with other departments for progress of internal audit findings.
14. Leads the process for internal controls reviews across the organization
15. Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework (ISO) and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to immediate head.
16. Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings.
17. Ensures internal audit objectives are achieved with financial consciousness.
18. Develops and maintains the Internal Audit Procedure/methodology to ensure that best practice is taken account of.
19. Reports to the immediate head the internal audit performance.
20. Manages risks and resolves critical departmental issues.
21. Manages key financial indicators of department operations.
22. Develops the potential of team members to maximize their productivity.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of Bachelor's degree in any field
2. At least eight (8) years of experience as internal auditor preferably in a construction industry
3. Three (3) years experience in ISO 9001:2015 and 45001:2018 standard auditing
4. Knowledgeable in MS office
5. Knowledgeable in audit concepts, framework and methodologies
6. With good oral and written skills
7. Able to make tactical results driven decisions
8. Able to perform productively while under pressure
9. Possesses the ability towards collaborative communications across multi-functional teams
