IT Helpdesk Support Specialist

We’re looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our dynamic team! If you love helping people solve their tech challenges and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
  • Provide exceptional remote support to both internal and external end-users, assisting with hardware and software issues.
  • Swiftly deploy and configure laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and more—ensuring everyone has what they need to succeed.
  • Help end-users install, configure, and troubleshoot various hardware and software—making their day a whole lot easier!
  • Set up new users with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure, so they can hit the ground running.
  • Manage inbound requests to the Helpdesk in line with SLAs and maintain clear, complete records of incidents and requests.
  • Be part of a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure continued system support for smooth operations.
  • Track and audit end-user hardware and software licenses to keep things in order.
  • Assist with hardware and software procurement as needed to keep systems running smoothly.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, SOX, ISO, and NIST standards and best practices to maintain compliance and security.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A Bachelor’s or AS Degree in Computer/IT, or relevant work experience. Microsoft Certifications are a big plus!
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with excellent phone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Patience, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 8.1, Windows 10, MS Office, VPN, i Phone, Droid, i Pad, antivirus, network connectivity, and printers. Windows Server experience is a bonus!
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange user accounts, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and IP Networking.
  • Familiarity with computer imaging solutions like MS SCCM and WDS.
  • The ability to build and set up user workstations, troubleshoot hardware devices, and provide quick fixes to keep things running smoothly.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Helpdesk Ticketing Systems and knowledge of ITIL 4 framework.
  • The ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail when creating SOPs and recording job tickets.
