Job Summary:
The IT Repair Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians in the repair, testing, and refurbishment of IT equipment designated for disposal or resale. This role ensures operational efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with environmental guidelines for safe e-waste management. The manager will oversee daily repair operations, manage team performance, coordinate with other departments, and maintain adherence to regulatory standards and company objectives.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of repair technicians.
• Ensure productivity and quality targets are met by the team.
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback.

Operational Efficiency

• Develop and implement efficient repair workflows and processes.
• Ensure optimal utilization of tools and equipment in the repair process.
• Track and manage repair KPIs, including repair rate, quality, and turnaround time.

Quality Assurance

• Establish and monitor quality control processes to ensure repairs meet industry standards.
• Conduct spot checks and audits to verify the quality and functionality of repaired items.
• Implement corrective actions when standards are not met.

Inventory and Resource Management

• Manage inventory levels for spare parts and components needed for repairs.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stocks and minimize downtime.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations specific to e-waste disposal.
• Maintain records of disposed, repaired, and recycled items in compliance with regulations.

Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders

• Collaborate with the Sales and Logistics teams for timely dispatch and repair prioritization.
• Coordinate with suppliers, third-party vendors, and clients for parts, services, and quality assurance requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Repair Efficiency Rate: Percentage of IT units repaired within the targeted time frame.
• Quality Assurance Pass Rate: Number of devices passing quality checks on the first review.
• Inventory Turnover Rate: Frequency at which spare parts are used and restocked efficiently.
• Customer Satisfaction Rating: Feedback from clients on repaired or refurbished items.
• Compliance Rate: Adherence to regulatory and environmental standards, measured by the number of non-compliance incidents.
• Cost Control: Reduction in repair-related costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT hardware repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Willing to work in Pasig
