Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning Engineer to join our growing team. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring timely and efficient project execution. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including activities, durations, dependencies, and resources.
- Analyze project scope, requirements, and constraints to create realistic and achievable schedules.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule and identify potential delays or risks.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Prepare and present schedule reports to project management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate data input and schedule updates.
- Proactively identify and communicate schedule risks and opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project planning processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in project planning software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the electrical construction industry.
- Proven proficiency in Primavera P6 software, including scheduling, resource management, and reporting.
