Platform Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in back-end testing, API requests, and a deep understanding of software development and testing life cycles (SDLC and STLC). You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and functionality of our platforms across web and mobile environments. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to create comprehensive testing documentation, and a strong capability in reporting and managing bugs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform back-end testing, including API requests and validation, primarily using tools like POSTMAN.
  • Create, manage, and estimate JIRA Bug reports (or similar bug tracking systems) with clear and detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand testing requirements and contribute to the SDLC process.
  • Execute various testing methodologies (SMOKE, REGRESSION, Functional, and Non-functional testing) and provide accurate feedback.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation, such as checklists, test cases, and test plans.
  • Conduct web and mobile application testing, with knowledge of i OS and Android differences.
  • Utilize the Developer Tools console for debugging and performance monitoring.
  • Test payment systems, such as Stripe, ensuring accurate functionality and security.
  • Utilize SQL and database tools like DBeaver for data validation and back-end testing.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in back-end testing, including API requests using POSTMAN.
  • Strong knowledge in estimating, creating, and managing JIRA Bug reports (or similar bug tracking systems).
  • Proven experience in SDLC and STLC, including collaboration with Product Managers on testing requirements.
  • Ability to distinguish between different types of testing such as SMOKE, REGRESSION, Functional, and Non-functional.
  • Experience in creating thorough testing documentation, including checklists, test cases, and test plans.
  • Expertise in both web and mobile testing, with a solid understanding of the differences between i OS and Android testing.
  • Proficiency in using the Developer Tools console for debugging.
  • Basic knowledge of payment systems like Stripe.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database tools (e.g., DBeaver).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
