JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
· Safety officer certificate
· Reliable and responsible – must be on time/schedule, well presented and organized
· Experience on various sizes of projects small and large
· Ability to perform works for solar systems, battery systems and generators – troubleshooting, identifying potential problems, identifying solutions to resolve technical problems.
· Experience in interacting with the end client to discuss their project and answer any Q&A the client may have during their project installation.
· Experience and knowledge in coordinating the required paperwork and permits for Net Metering or City Hall applications, and ensuring projects are being installed to meet such standards and requirements.
· Experience managing and coordinating a team of workers.
· Speaks English and Tagalog
· Fluent in English writing
· Electrical project experience
· Has car driver license, ability to drive manual vehicle.
· Has own private vehicle or transport to report to work sites
· Ability to travel outside of Metro Manila for extended periods for project works
· Working Smartphone with good camera
· Ability to use computer software – Microsoft Office, Gmail, Online Meeting (Google, Zoom or Skype), AUTOCAD, Sketchup
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Coordinating with Operations Manager for matters regarding the manpower team and construction plans for project installation – ensuring workers report to project sites with correct requirements and have project plans to follow
2. Review and coordination of electrical and installation plans with other internal engineering staff
3. Conducting project installation inspections and answering questions regarding the project that the client may have.
4. Providing project updates to the internal staff throughout a working day (usually via Viber message), and creating end of day report with photos and summary for projects where manpower is on-site completing installation tasks
5. Technical assistance and troubleshooting for settings and configuration of solar systems and equipment, including liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical problems at the project site.
6. Conducting ocular inspections and meetings for new projects, then assisting and reviewing with engineering staff, the design of energy systems for implementation:
6.1. Single Line Diagrams
6.2. Floor plan/equipment layouts
6.3. Solar Panel Roof Plans
6.4. Installation work method plan
6.5. Bill of materials
7. Assisting the Operations Manager with:
7.1. Attending project technical meetings at the project site
7.2. Identifying potential issues and suggesting solutions to resolve any issues.
7.3. Ensuring installation team, plans and schedule is being followed
8. Inspections for project compliance and quality assurance
8.1. Checking the materials being used are of the company’s accepted standards.
8.2. Checking the placement of equipment follows the company’s accepted standards.
8.3. Identifying any rectifications or revisions that need to be made by the installation technician to meet the company’s accepted standards
9. Supervising the installation works:
9.1. Installation and connection of rooftop solar panels/monitoring equipment
9.2. Installation and configuration of solar inverters
9.3. Commissioning of inverters and troubleshooting
9.4. Activation of monitoring software (Solis, SMA, Solax, Alpha ESS, Growatt, Sungrow and other brands)
9.5. Programming of settings with the installed equipment
9.6. Installing monitoring apps and providing basic instruction for the client
9.7. Installation and troubleshooting of IT network infrastructure such as Wi Fi, LAN cables, switches and routers that interconnect the solar equipment(s)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
