As the Quality Manager at i Xsystems, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating a spectrum of quality assurance functions essential to our operations. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within our dynamic and innovative environment.



This position is ideal for candidates based in the Manila Metro Area, Philippines working on Pacific Standard Time (PST) from 8 AM to 5 PM.



This is an in-office role based out of our Makati office.



Base Pay Range

The base pay range of this position will pay up to 28,500 USD annually depending on experience. Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position after successfully completing 6-months of employment.
Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

The Day-to-Day



The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.


Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor QMS effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across quality management processes and procedures.


Quality Assurance Leadership:
  • Provide leadership to the quality assurance team, aligning goals with departmental objectives.
  • Establish quality metrics and KPIs to measure performance and drive accountability.


  • Lead cross-functional teams in quality-related projects to enhance product and support quality.


Regulatory Compliance and Audit Management:
  • Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections, preparing and responding effectively.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address audit findings and improve compliance.
  • Manage supplier quality audits and performance monitoring to drive improvement initiatives.


Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation to prevent quality issues.


Training and Development:
  • Develop and deliver quality-related training programs for employee skill enhancement.
  • Mentor team members to support their professional growth in quality management.
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and compliance throughout the organization.


Risk Management and Mitigation:
  • Identify risks to product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to mitigate identified risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to proactively address quality-related risks.


Documentation and Control Management:
  • Establish document control processes to manage changes and revisions effectively.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Maintain compliance with document retention policies and regulatory requirements.


Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and resolve issues.
  • Communicate quality performance metrics and improvements to senior management.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and escalations.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators to track progress.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven analysis to drive accountability and continuous improvement.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Quality Management and/or a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the storage and server manufacturing industry
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) would be advantageous.

  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001, with a proven track record of success.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in manufacturing or technology industries.
  • Extensive experience in leading and conducting audits, performing gap analyses, and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Strong background in change management processes within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee business continuity planning and management reviews effectively.
  • Skilled in providing expert guidance and contributing to quality-related inquiries from customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies and implementing sustainable preventive measures.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex quality projects.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
