Summary:
· Responsible in the routine radiologic diagnosis.
· Responsible in the effective management of radiologic facility safety to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, and qualitative targets.
· Responsible for coordination with the head of the clinic, radiologist and other section chief to properly execute the xray section’s goals and targets
· Work shall still be defined by the existing Philippine Republic Act No. 7431
Requirements:
· Radiologic Protection Officer Certificate
Specific Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct proper sample collection, pre-analysis, analysis and post-analysis.
2. Provide immediate supervision at the medical laboratory biosafety practice-wise
a. Make sure that the standard radiation protection practice for a safe x-ray facility is followed
b. Do daily physical facility check when on site duty
c. Together with the radiologist and head of clinic, participates in managerial review for addressing issues involving the x-ray facility
d. Initial point person to resolve radiation protection issues
e. Refer or elevate issues to the head of x-ray facility/clinic if deemed severe
3. Performs x-ray procedures
4. Together with the head of the x-ray facility, head of clinic and regulatory team, makes sure that the x-ray facility follows the radiologic protection standards
5. Responsible for availability and orders of supplies at the x-ray section which he/she is on-duty.
a.Makes sure test availability
6. Implement recommended equipment and physical facility maintenance at the x-ray facility.
7. Keep important records of the x-ray facility:
a. Makes sure that the proper retention and disposal of records are followed
b. Safekeep each reagent and chemical material and safety data sheet, and makes sure that the documents are readily available
c. Keep regulatory documents and make it readily available for checking by internal auditors or the regulatory bureau.
d. Copies of incident report
8. Aligns with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by immediate supervisor
9. Review standard operating procedure and algorithms for x-ray procedures.
a. Provide initial revisions and or updates with the Work Instructions and Standard of Procedures to be reviewed and approved by the head of the x-ray facility.
10. Participates in x-ray facility and inventory audits
a. Makes sure that the consumable utilization as well as wastage are accounted
11. Monitor quality control measures daily.
i. Provide initial check of the quality control
12. Prepare monthly report and submit it to the head of the clinic and radiologist
a. Report of performance of test of the x-ray facility.
b. Report the wastage census every monthly
13. Participate in selection, evaluation, and procurement of new instruments and supplies for the x-ray facility.
a. Make sure that validation studies will be done properly

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
