Senior Information Security Engineer Analyst - Attack Path Mapping Analyst

Optum Cyber Defense’s Attack Path Modeling (APM) enables the Defender's ability to enumerate pathways to key assets by assessing risk, proactively identifying weaknesses and putting counter measures in place to detect, delay and defeat bad actors.

As the Attack Path Modeling Analyst, you will be responsible for mapping potential attack vectors, ensuring tracability of findings and and provide recommendations for operational improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure tracking and traceability of findings from APM platform
  • Drive remediation efforts based on simulation findings and analysis
  • Deliver technical analysis based on enumeration results
  • Identify and help drive areas for automation and improvement
  • Help monitor and maintain APM platforms
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
  • Security+, GSEC, or other relevant security certification(s)
  • 3+ years of information security experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with e GRC and reporting platforms
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with technical engineers
  • Experience querying for log data (e.g. SIEM platforms and databases)
  • Familiarity with network components and concepts
  • Familiarity with common network and endpoint security tools
  • Proven excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
