Work hours: 9:00 am-6:00 pm Australian Time
Compensation range: US$1,250 - US$1,500/month

About the Role
As an SEO Content Writer, you´ll be working hand in hand with other copywriters & SEO analysts from the team, but also interact and engage with the Web Development team to work with content support from a website perspective. This position will be supporting the creation of SEO Optimized web copy for landing pages & informational blog articles for their B2B & B2C audiences.

The client is looking for an inquisitive individual who loves understanding how people search on the internet and is able to create content that fulfills those needs in an engaging and informative way. The ideal candidate should be able to undertake research and create an engaging copy within given time frames.

Responsibilities:

Understand how content and SEO work together.
Perform supporting keyword research.
Analyze SERPs to expand on the information required.
Understand Keyword Intent.
Outline, draft, edit & optimize content pieces for use on a variety of Open English channels such as Landing Pages, Blog Articles, Social Posts and occasionally Emails
- (60% - 80% of your time will be invested in the SEO Content and 20%-40% of the remaining time will be spent on looking at creating content for other channels. on their B2C Brand)
Publish written blog articles directly in Word Press CMS under the guidance of their Senior SEO Copywriter.
Produce content that maintains a unique voice and talking points that align with Brand TOV & guidelines.
Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
Work with SEO Analysts & Web teams to ensure that visual elements match the content.
Meet with account managers to discuss client requirements and core messages.
Research your client’s industry to understand their offerings and target audiences.
Edit your own and others' writing.
Turnaround content within tight deadlines.
Follow SEO best practices and processes.
Progress and innovate the client's content writing service.
Experiment with new content formats and styles for improved user engagement.
Use AI tools to assist in producing content.
Maintain accurate data and usage on project management platforms.
Provide regular reports on territory performance.
Provide detailed, accurate, and timely forecasting of when deadlines will be met.
Perform relevant administration duties related to your role.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a Content Writer focusing on SEO content writing for Australian businesses.
At least 2 years of experience in a marketing agency.
Ability to write both in UK and American English.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging and persuasive content that drives results.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to adapt writing style to different brands and target audiences.
Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams.
