Key Responsibilities:

• Development: Work with cross-functional teams of PHP developers or Dev Ops to deliver quality software applications end-to-end.
• Support: Provide immediate response to system support requests from customers/clients whenever needed.
• Coding: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code in PHP and related web technologies.
• Performance: Ensure high performance and responsiveness to technical requests, including requirements analysis, development, testing, maintenance, and support.
• Expertise: Apply web programming expertise to make high-level design choices and establish technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively and proactively with IT teams in the Philippines and Japan.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of solid hands-on experience in frontend and backend development.
• Frontend: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Java Script (Quasar, Nuxt, and Vue JS preferred).
• Backend: Backend: Linux/Nginx, Apache, My SQL/Maria DB, Graph QL and Rest API creation & consumption a must
• PHP: Object-Oriented PHP using MVC pattern framework (Laravel preferred).
• Code Quality: S.O.L.I.D. or "Clean Code" principles preferred, Unit Testing and API creation / testing experiences highly preferred
• AWS: Experience with AWS architecture and implementation of services (ECS, RDS, Elastic Cache, Cloud Front, Route 53)is a plus, Microservices architecture preferred.
• Tools: Proficiency with GIT/Github, Virtual Box, and Docker (preferred).
• Leadership: Experience in technically leading a team of 5 to 15 developers and role as Scrum Master is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino; Japanese language proficiency is a big plus.
• Methodologies: Flexibility in any of the following SDLC methods (Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban, Waterfall).

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Arrangement: Willing to work in Alabang for Office-based/temporary Hybrid arrangement, or 100% Home-based arrangement available (for remote locations).
• Eligibility: Local residents or Japanese with PH work permits are encouraged to apply.
• Travel: Willingness to travel and work in Japan with required qualifications.
• Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 10am to 7pm (support may be needed for critical hours).
