The Staff Nurse performs nursing care in accordance with the standard nursing procedures, medical directions, patient care standards, and Hospital guiding principles.
Depending on assignment, Staff Nurses may be assigned to ensure holistic nursing care to patients and render specific tasks and responsibilities of the assigned section:
1. HDU, IVT, OR/DR/ASC

• HDU
• IVT
• OR/DR/ASC

2. Regular Ward/NICU

• Regular Ward (Station 1/2 , 3/4 )
• NICU

3. ERD, ICU, Step-Down

• Emergency Room
• ICU / Step-Down

4. Nursing Admin, Resource, Bed Management
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited professional College of Nursing

• Professional Regulation Commission license
• With at least one to two (1 – 2) years clinical nursing experience in General Nursing.

Hemodialysis

• Preferably with BLS, ACLS, IV Therapy Certifications
• Member and accredited by the Renal Nurses Association of the Philippines(RENAP)
• Can operate the following: Hemodialysis machines, dialyzer reprocess machine, Suction Machine, Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump, Defibrillator, ECG Machine, Mechanical Ventilator, Glucometer, Nebulizer, Sphygmomanometer,

IV Therapy

• 1-2 years experience in IVT and/or Dialysis
• Licensed Intravenous Therapist
• Updated Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support certification.
• With background in infection control practices
• Can operate the following: Infusion Pump, Biohazard Cabinet

OR

• Emergency Care: Triage and emergency measures
• Ambulatory Care: Applies standardized “Aftercare Instructions” and assists with ambulatory procedures
• Operating Room: Prepares equipment and applies knowledge of surgical procedures
• Obstetrics: Assesses the neonate at delivery, performs neonatal resuscitation according to institutional guidelines, applies knowledge of fetal monitoring, and identifies Fetal heart rate patterns and treats appropriately based on institutional standards
• Can operate the following: Cardiac Monitor, Central Monitor, Suction Machine, Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump, Defibrillator, ECG Machine, Mechanical Ventilator, Glucometer, Nebulizer, Sphygmomanometer

ER

• IV Therapist Certified
• BLS/ACLS provider
• PSEN member
• Can operate the following: Cardiac Monitor, Central Monitor, Suction Machine, Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump, Defibrillator, ECG Machine, Mechanical Ventilator, Glucometer, Nebulizer, Sphygmomanometer

ICU/NICU

• Preferably with BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV Therapy Certifications
• Preferably with one year of medical/surgical ward experience
• With excellent knowledge of medical, surgical, ICU nursing principles and the nursing processes
• Can operate the following: Cardiac Monitor, Central Monitor, Suction Machine, Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump, Defibrillator, ECG Machine, Mechanical Ventilator, Glucometer, Nebulizer, Sphygmomanometer
