Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Salary: PHP 80,000 - 120,000 per month
Benefits: Guaranteed 14th month, car plan benefits (car budget, gasoline allowance, parking allowance) other allowance and benefits
Position Overview:
The Tax Audit and Advisory Manager will lead the resolution of national and local tax assessments and review all transactions related to tax practices. He/She shoulld also ensure compliance on all documentations to avail the most preferential tax rate on cross-border transactions. He/She shall provide advisory and consultancy services to Group and provide related tax memorandum and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle tax assessments and various dealings with the BIR and LGU which may include application of tax rulings and clearance related to tax assessments
- Review of tax returns and related computations and prepare reconciliations for purposes of BIR/LGU audit
- Conduct research in resolving tax issues raised which may be through inquiries with BIR, on-site system of the Company, and/or coordination with other consultants
- Assist in preparing position papers and other documentations/schedules relevant to application of tax rulings and other correspondences with the BIR/LGU in coordination with the management and other consultants
- Assist in preparing tax treaty relief applications (TTRA)/ request for confirmation (RFC) and ensure that the lowest treaty rate is used with respect to the Company's transactions with non-residents
- Assist in reviewing contracts and provide related tax implications as may be assigned by the Legal and Finance groups
- Continuously be updated of new regulations and issuances and recommend improvement or changes in tax practices for the implementation of new tax issuances
- Assist in the planning and initiation of tax-effective measures and alternatives to reduce tax liabilities of the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, including tax shelters for its employees
- Perform other tasks and duties which may be assigned from time to time as required by his/her superior related to the items above.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- 13th month salary
