- Process Payroll: Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions.
- Maintain Records: Keep precise records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Resolve Discrepancies: Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure Compliance: Stay up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
- Collaborate with HR: Work closely with the HR department to manage payroll-related changes.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports related to payroll.
- Support Employees: Help employees resolve payroll-related issues.
- Participate in Audits: Engage in payroll audits and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with new legislation and regulations affecting payroll.
- Contribute to Projects: Assist with various projects and additional duties as required by the Finance Department.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
