Job Qualification:

• With at least High School Diploma/College Level/Food Safety Training is a plus
• With 3 years of experiences in hospitality industry, hotel and restaurants/fast food chain
• Experience in a Chinese restaurant is a MUST
• Presentable (pleasing personality) with excellent customers service skills in a restaurant setting

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort guest to their tables in a warm and friendly manner.
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. portions, ingredients, potential food allergies)
• Practice of suggestive selling and communicate daily specials, best sellers and promotional activities to guests.
• Take accurate food and drink orders through order slips and record transactions in Point of Sales systems at the time of order.
• Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and act promptly in a friendly and professional way.
• Responsible for preparing table set up and replenish backups such as silverwares, glasses etc. including bussing out.
• Ensure guests are serviced within the specified time.
• Ensures the compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures and relevant health department regulations of the restaurant are followed.
• Communicate order details to the kitchen staff including guest requests, length of wait and product availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitations within the restaurant including service stations and dining equipment.
• Serve food and drinks orders accordingly.
• Deliver checks and collect bill payment.
• Always thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.
• Ensures the compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures and relevant health department regulations of the restaurant are followed
• Meet guest satisfaction through positive and smooth dining experience for all guest.
