Workspace Technician

- Perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of equipment and systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Operate and maintain various hand and power tools
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues
- Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and techniques
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ordering replacements as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or related technical field
- Proven experience in multiple technical disciplines (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations (e.g., OSHA standards)
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and blueprints
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus
- Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving technologies
