Finance & Accounting Assistant Manager - Regional Wholesale Bank

An established Regional Wholesale Bank is looking to further establish their presence in Singapore is looking to for an experienced finance professional. You would be given a great opportunity to gain exposure to the full spectrum of finance and the opportunity to work directly with the head of finance. In return you will enjoy a remuneration of up to $90,000 per annum.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation and checking of the Branch’s MAS regulatory reports and make adjustments, where required. Work with Head Office teams and system vendor to maintain an automated solution for MAS Regulatory Reporting.
  • Assist with monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and requirements for the branch (e.g. Asset Maintenance Ratio, MLA & MCB) and preparation of the daily regulatory reports.
  • Assist with preparation of journal entries and detailed subaccount ledgers. Ensure adherence with Accounting Policy and Head Office requirements including performing checks on invoices and receipts for payments.
  • Review of Nostro reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.
  • Assist the Department Head in taxation matters, including corporate tax computation and GST related matters.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
  • Experience in Singapore bank regulatory and financial reporting preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Able to work independently and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude, good team player and willingess to collaborate within and across teams.
