The Role

A challenging opportunity to work in one of the most exciting and fastest growing markets in South East Asia. Cross-Border logistics is poised to be the enabler of e-commerce business in the region. The key deliverable of this role is to manage the end to end logistics journey from origin first-mile to last-mile delivery to the customer through collaboration with our partners, agents and 3rd party logistics providers.
Areas of focus include support in implementing new solutions working with local and regional teams to improve performance and capacity. You will leverage data to drive operational efficiencies, enable new opportunities and be involved in innovative projects that will enhance the seller and customer experience.
This position also extends into the realm of regional cross border Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), with a particular focus on forecasting and planning.

Scope of Work:

• Own, develop and maintain country forecast and performance of operational metrics (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly business report trends)
• Provide analytical support on projects and new initiatives (analyze problem and provide solutions)
• Participate in project walkthrough, business requirements gathering, design, functional test plan and implementation session
• Leverage data to identify bottleneck and root cause for issue and provide insight to management on initiatives that need to be taken to improve the performance
• Acting as key interface between business and Product/Tech functions
• Deep dive and acquire an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply when solving business problem
• Effectively manage relationships and negotiations with customs brokers to facilitate smooth cross-border transactions
• Vendor Management such as conducting regular review with Partners, Monthly Score Card and keeping track of joint initiative (partner management)
• Subject matter expert on Cross Border and Gateway (import/customs) related topics
• Develop short- and long-term cross border forecast for SEA
• Analyze historical sales and logistics trends to improve forecast accuracy
• Work closely with regional teams and S&OP planners to predict the impact of upcoming promotional events on cross-border volume.
• Lead planning for regional mega campaigns and prepare operations teams
• Master and work with the tech team to maintain and improve the inhouse forecasting system
• Execute ad-hoc forecasts as needed, demonstrating a high level of analytical skill.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or related fields
• Preferred: At least 5 years of operations/forecasting experience in cross-border logistics, particularly in e Commerce. However, candidates with a strong interest in cross-border logistics and a proven track record of skills relevant to the scope of work are encouraged to apply
