Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients in the wholesale and informal sectors.
- Identify and engage new sales opportunities within targeted markets.
- Present and demonstrate product offerings to potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns promptly.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the wholesale, FMCG, or candy/confectionery sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the informal and wholesale market landscape in South Africa.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- High school certificate or equivalent; a degree or diploma in business, sales, or related field is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
