We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and support the Colors & Flavors businesses in South Africa. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and support the Colors & Flavors businesses in South Africa. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office.
What you’ll do:
- Full Accounts Payable function for local and foreign vendors, including FX Management – CFC, FEC, hedging, liaising with Group Treasury
- Timely completion of Month End Accounting Journal entries and reconciliations
- Monthly and ad hoc reporting – vendors, sustainability support, etc.
- Statutory reporting – SETA, BBBEE support, prepare VAT returns
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Bachelor’s degree – Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous
- Experience in JDE or a similar ERP system
- Extensive experience in commercial accounting, FMCG preferred
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Excel
