Senior People Lead

We are looking for a Senior People Lead to join our Human Resources Team; as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.
As a Senior People Lead at M-KOPA, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to executive and senior leaders in our South African market.
In this role, you'll drive the people agenda by aligning business priorities with strategies that promote a high-performance culture. You'll lead initiatives, mentor colleagues in HR, and collaborate across teams to ensure organizational success - reflecting our company values.

This is a on-site role with some hybrid working, you would be working from our offices in in Johannesburg, South Africa partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the Director of People - Markets.
Expertise
We expect you to be a strategic thinker and a proactive leader, comfortable working closely with senior executives to align business objectives with effective people strategies. Your experience should include developing and implementing talent management initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.You should have a proven track record in organizational development, employee engagement, and performance management, leveraging data-driven insights to drive decision-making and shape our people agenda. Your ability to coach and mentor fellow People Partners is crucial, as is your skill in navigating employee relations and managing labor partnerships in a diverse and inclusive workplace.
