What will you be doing?
The Senior Retail Analyst reports into the Retail Account Manager as part of the Retail client team. The ideal candidate would need to have a high degree of autonomy and problem-solving capabilities, an innovative and analytical mind, using innovative and inspiring insight to grow our client’s business, paired with superb organizational and interpersonal engagement skills to deliver an all-round excellent service to the Retail client.

What will you be doing?
The Senior Retail Analyst reports into the Retail Account Manager as part of the Retail client team. The ideal candidate would need to have a high degree of autonomy and problem-solving capabilities, an innovative and analytical mind, using innovative and inspiring insight to grow our client’s business, paired with superb organizational and interpersonal engagement skills to deliver an all-round excellent service to the Retail client.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships by maintaining a professional working relationship with key client contacts and is always an ambassador for the Circana brand.
- Support client by producing outstanding insight that answers questions from supplied briefs (formal or informal).
- Scheduled work on reports or regular deliverables that ensure we are hitting agreed deadlines with the right data & insights where relevant.
- Proficient in the Circana data analytics platform and identifying opportunities where solution can add value to the various departments within the retail client organisation.
- Drive awareness of relevant solutions across the client organisation
- Able to extract briefs from client at various levels of seniority and is able manage expectations around deadlines and scope of work.
- Provides relevant stimulus from external sources to broaden the knowledge of the team and add value to presentations.
- Manages the presentation delivery process with client – finalise check-in, manage diaries, ensures rooms and equipment is booked.
- Presents confidently and engages in meaningful discussions with clients at various levels of seniority during the presentations – able to handle both strategic and tactical discussions as required.
- Deals with follow-up requests on past presentations and ensures that these are delivered to clients.
- Manages the monthly/ quarterly delivery process – ensuring that the databases and reports are accurate and delivered on time the data delivery process with the necessary internal stakeholders through clear communication to resolve issues and supporting juniors when needed.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Tertiary education with 3-5 years experience in FMCG data analytics
- Track record in point of sale, category management, loyalty and supply chain analytics.
- Demonstrate an innate interest in market research and data driven decision making
- Enjoy both the analysis and delivery of client presentations
- High level of attention to detail and technology proficiency
