Introduction
We are a Southern Africa's fastest growing black-empowered electrical wholesalers, employing over 650 staff members. ARB provides a wide range of internationally recognized and SABS approved products across three main categories- Power and instrumentation cables, overhead line equipment and conductors as well as general low voltage product (including lighting).
Our Branch in Kathu is currently looking for a well-experienced Stores Controller who can work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
Key Performance Areas include the following:
● Follow up on items without bin location
● Write and process GRVs
● Following up with GRVs for deliver / not delivered / queries etc
● Check on packers, assist in packing on the table and with customers were required
● Monitor tea break times for packers
● Check outstanding buyout list and follow up on items to be GRV’d
● Assist with random stocktake
● Relief for supervisors that are not at work
● Arrange courier for cable meters-get quotes/purchase orders/arrange collection/GRN order
● Conduct Friday meeting with packers
● Warranty list
● Ensure all stock items are labelled before being packed into stock
● Ensure each bin has a shelf label and bulk items are labelled clearly
● Diesel fills - collect daily from bowser, email spreadsheet
● PID- filing of invoices/POD
● Assist with queries, stock counts, adjustments etc
● Assist with urgent and priority orders
● Monitor dispatch - pack invoices, load south coast etc
● Assisting dispatch of drivers (daily runs, all drivers) Trip sheets
● Assign delivery notes to drivers
● Liaise with packers which orders are urgent that need to be pulled and packed
● Follow up on orders that were generated and need to go on PID
● Process orders for online store
● Assist dispatch clerks with queries - customer query or packing query
● Assist Store Manager with queries, stock counts, adjustments etc
Minimum Qualification:

• Valid Grade 12 Certificate
• Previous experience as a stock controller/dispatch clerk or working in a warehouse/stores environment (2-3 years)
• People management experience and experience in dealing with customers
