This role is intended for a UI/UX Designer with significant experience in both UI design using XD or Figma, as well as UX design, particularly in creating and conducting A/B tests on our Shopify website. It requires a strong background in UX design. This position is not intended for those who primarily identify as web developers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate well-defined A/B testing strategies for our website, focusing on optimising conversion rates (CRO) and enhancing user experience.
- Implement user testing through platforms like User Testing.com to identify areas for improving CRO and uncover opportunities for future A/B tests.
- Collaborate closely with our web development team to ensure the UX designs are meticulously crafted and ready for the seamless execution of A/B tests.
- Create visually appealing and on-brand UI designs for our website and e Commerce platforms.
- Analyse user journeys using Google Analytics to create reports on user behaviour and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilise Hotjar to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing the website experience.
- Work closely with the e-commerce manager and IT development team to ensure cohesive and functional design implementation.
- Align digital advertising efforts with landing pages for consistent messaging and optimal user experience.
- Iterate website designs based on feedback and user testing, continually seeking to improve the user experience.
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Proven experience developing user-friendly UI designs for web and mobile applications using Adobe XD and Figma.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work that has enhanced conversion rates and sales.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) and prototyping software (e.g., Figma).
- Working knowledge of front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and Java Script, to effectively communicate design specifications with our developers.
- Understanding of user-centred design principles and their application in creating user-friendly e Commerce websites.
- Analytical and exceptional skill set with a keen interest in technology.
- Knowledge of Baymard Institute’s research and guidelines is an advantage and will need to be studied in detail for this role.
- Submit a portfolio showcasing past work.
