This position will be part of GNS Central Marketing Organization and will be responsible for leading marketing engagement for our Network partner banks in South Korea. This will involve envisioning, planning, and driving large impactful programs and capabilities to support partner/ product launches, active portfolio management to impact spends, acquisitions, sales promotions, driving loyalty, data driven marketing campaigns and driving brand awareness in the market.
This role requires extensive engagement with internal stakeholders and global teams as well as engage with our card issuers as consultant to support their marketing teams.

- This is a fixed-term contact positon until the end of June 2025.
This position will be part of GNS Central Marketing Organization and will be responsible for leading marketing engagement for our Network partner banks in South Korea. This will involve envisioning, planning, and driving large impactful programs and capabilities to support partner/ product launches, active portfolio management to impact spends, acquisitions, sales promotions, driving loyalty, data driven marketing campaigns and driving brand awareness in the market.
This role requires extensive engagement with internal stakeholders and global teams as well as engage with our card issuers as consultant to support their marketing teams.
The Candidate should possess the following skill sets / Qualification:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing or relevant job roles. MBA from a premier institution preferred.
- High degree of innovation, knowledge of new developments in the market both inside and beyond the industry.
- Working with multiple stakeholders and departments – should be able to carry out tough negotiations and manage relationships at multiple levels both within and outside of Amex
- Comfortable working with people from diverse background, cultures and operating on multiple systems and processes across different markets and lines of businesses
- Good understanding of Network marketing i.e. how VISA/MC runs campaign in market
- Understanding of Customer Life Cycle / Journey in Payment space spanning across Debit/Credit/Prepaid/Merchant/Corporate/Wallets
- Have an experience of liaising with agency to develop concept brief to customer communication
- Proven track record of driving BTL, ATL Campaigns including social networks.
- Proven track record of managing agencies and budget lines to run campaigns/offers
- Possess an understanding of Brand management.
- Possess an understanding of business drivers and what marketing levers should be pulled to drive business
- Must be a good influencer
- Sharp execution, and good project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to design winning strategies and executable plans. Comfort with ambiguity and "clean sheet of paper" thinking
- Excellent presentation skills and analytical skills
- Relationship management across the hierarchy
- Must be fluent in Korean and English.
