We are looking for a Marketing specialist to lead marketing strategy and activities at MDPI KOREA. The position is based in the beautiful city of Seoul, Korea.
Fixed-Term Employee (term of employment of 12 months / subject to extension upon mutual agreement).
Tasks & Responsibilities

• Actively collaborate with the editorial department to coordinate market activities for different journals in South Korea, such as promoting journals through participation in academic conferences and scholar visits, establishing a good synergistic effect within the discipline.

• Assist the market project leader(Marketing Manager) and other project teams in promoting and implementing new projects.

• Assist in the data collection and marketing analysis of market activities in South Korea and provide relevant feedback.

• Negotiate with scholars to obtain optimized resources.

• Support scholar training and collaboration negotiations with leading universities and institutions in South Korea.

• Represent the company at some academic conferences held in South Korea and be responsible for setting up the on-site booth.

• Establish and maintain relationships with key scholars and academic media in the South Korean region.

• Handle inquiries related to all services of MDPI Korea
• Execute ad-hoc marketing tasks assigned by the manager and other tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Marketing, business administration, or a related business field (master’s degree preferred).
• Candidates with professional experience in academic publishing, exhibitions, or press release are preferred.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be a Korean citizen. Native in Korean
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Strong team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic international environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in activity monitoring, analysis, and reporting, capable of setting measurable and achievable goals.
• Good problem-solving abilities, actively identifying current and potential issues and determining the best solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent communication and coordination abilities.
