POSITION SUMMARY

Our Event Support Experts take the initiative and deliver a wide range of services that allow our events to go off without a hitch. Whether setting up and breaking down materials, transporting supplies, stocking bars and action stations, or anything in between, the Event Support Expert plays a key role in making our events run flawlessly.
Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, actions stations, etc. Respond to and try to fullfill any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance.


Main duties & Responsibilities
Ownership for all inbound inquires on property though all channels
Coordination of all customer requirements, including communication and completing verbally and in writing with the customer the details of the full event proposal & quote Correct use of systems processes to ensure booking integrity, consistency & accuracy
Works within brand standards & systems processes
Generate incremental revenue and deliver excellent guest service
Effectively manages bedrooms blocks and meeting space inventory for assigned groups
Partners with Event Executive & Management and/or Operations in providing a customer experience that exceeds the customer’s expectations


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a good command of English
An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills
Good knowledge or experience of the hospitality industry
Good organisation skills with an attention to detail
A team player with flexible & positive attitude
Hardworking and consistent
Active learning
Skilled at clearly conveying information & ideas to both management, piers and clients
