Be responsible from the following requirements:
- Responsible for ensuring that all the organization’s activities meet food safety requirements and follow Danone Standards accredited food safety programs.
- Ensure proper implementation of FS standards in collaboration with industrial teams using deep technical, technological & processing know how.
- Implementing the relevant tools and systems (i.e Quality Document Management System) for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the quality and food safety policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices, to assure continuous conformance to appropriate customer standards and regulations with full coverage of the functions.
- Collaborating with factory quality, R&I and C&P teams for quality and food safety approaches in new product and productivity projects, support the factory quality teams to implement the projects for continuous improvement by helping them for risk analyzes and action planning.
- Provides leadership, support, and guidance directly to their team and directly to other plant personnel to ensure; food quality standards, food safety guidelines, legal requirements (as they pertain to food safety) and customer expectations are met.
- Perform food safety planning with new product development and expansion of production lines. While maintaining current food safety regulations and preparing the organization for the implementation of new food safety regulations.
- Conducts inspections of processes and employee training, ensures compliance with applicable food laws and regulations and verifies plant HACCP plans.
- Develops and ensures that implementation of food safety and monitoring programs meet both Danone and regulatory standards. Oversees and monitors food safety & quality program implementation (i.e. HACCP, FSE, GMP, CP, PRP, Traceability, Food Defence, Food Fraud)
- Directs and facilitates in development of training programs, conducts the training classes of employees for Food Safety (i.e. GMP, FSE, HACCP, Allergen, Food Fraud, Food Defense, Traceability, CP) and other quality expectations/programs.
- Oversee and coordinate 3rd party, internal and cross audits, support the investigations and planning the actions of findings and collaborate with all departments
- Responsible for overseeing collection of data for Food Safety and Quality KPI’s, reporting the annually, quarterly and monthly to the functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in food engineering or relevant engineering departments
- Minimum 7 years of experience in water or food industry, food safety , quality improvement and governance management
- Experience in industrial projects execution ( new factory – processing or packaging equipment investments ) FS assessment is an asset
- Experience and practical knowledge in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the quality and food safety policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices and food safety policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Good team player, structural thinking and professional approach towards stakeholders and factory teams
- Good command of MS Office application
- You could design your own way of working with our hybrid working model.
- You could work from any office on your office days! Our head office is in Ataşehir and hub office is in Levent.
- You could decide your daily 8-hours of working period within our flexible-working hours practice.
- While working remotely, you create your office comfort at your home with your ergonomics package.
- We know that you will have home expenses during home office days. So, Danone supports you for your expenses with an allowance as well!
- Summers are flexible here! You could work fully remote for 4 weeks during July and August.
- We also enjoy Fridays during summer period between July and August by finishing our works by 15:00 and enjoy the rest of the day and starting the weekend earlier.
