They are developing a cloud-native data catalog, a platform that simplifies access to data for all, breaking down data silos, fostering collaboration, and boosting productivity. This cloud-native system unifies diverse data, supports a thriving open data community, and co-authored a significant data practices manifesto. IF YOU ARE

• A proficient Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Java Core
• Hands-on with Scala and AI
• Skilled in building LLM-powered applications
• Good familiarity with Typescript
• Capable of maintaining daily communication with client-side software engineers (Intermediate strong level or higher)
• Knowledgeable in prompt engineering (as a plus)
• Aware of RAG algorithms (as an advantage)
• Good at Vector Databases (would be strongly preferred)
• Ability to work in a start-up type of environment

AND YOU WANT TO

• Deliver high-quality development services to clients
• Contribute to system analysis, design, construction, integration, deployment, and configuration
• Establish engineering processes according to best practices
• Provide reliable estimations
• Validate effort estimations regularly
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
• Create fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features, following Agile values and principles
