Our service users are unique individuals with specific interests, and we’re looking for support workers who can connect with them on a personal level. Whether it’s cheering on Aston Villa with a football fan, nurturing a garden with an outdoor enthusiast, or discussing the latest Marvel film with a movie buff, you’ll be building strong relationships while helping them achieve their goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting individuals in developing life skills, building confidence, and working towards independence
• Providing engaging conversation and stimulating activities that promote emotional and social well-being
• Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean home environment
• Booking and accompanying individuals to healthcare appointments, ensuring they have the care they need
• Keeping care plans and risk assessments current and comprehensive to ensure the best possible support
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns promptly to management to protect the well-being of those in your care

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 12 Months experience working in a similar role, specifically with individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
• Someone with a positive, "get up and go" attitude who’s ready to make a real impact
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations
• Confidence, resilience, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks with dedication
• Trustworthy and reliable individuals who are committed to making a difference
