Mon - Fri - 9-5pm 37.5hrs per week
Active Pathways are currently recruiting for compassionate Therapy Coordinator to join The Hamptons and Brookhaven based in Bamber Bridge, Preston .
As a Therapy Coordinator, you will report to the Lead Occupational Therapist and be responsible for organising and implementing individualised activity plans aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our service users and supporting their recovery journey. This role requires a solid background in Occupational Therapy, with proven experience in supporting service users, delivering therapy activities, and facilitating group sessions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively are essential.

Our ideal Therapy Coordinator will:
- Develop and planning therapeutic programs, outings, and events, staff these events, and overseeing the implementation of activities. Ensuring the programs and events reflect the current population of the services' wishes and preferences.
- Enablling the Individuals we support to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed on standards, legislation, and within the financial budget.
- Producing regular newsletters to inform the Individuals we support and their relatives and friends of the events and updates going on within the service.
- Previous experience of planning and running events and activities is advantages
- Have an infectious enthusiasm and creative approach which will inspire our individuals and staff to get involved in activities both within the service and in the local community
- Have outstanding organisational skills and ability to build rapport to positively influence others and communicate effectively whilst promoting social engagement and independence
