Job Description:

• Day-to-day team management of the Landing gear, Hydraulics and Test Bay departments.
• Plan and schedule FPBU workload in line with the site production schedule, through Quantum ERP system.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of strong team morale/drive and team working.
• Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
• Train, motivate and performance manage staff; complete performance reviews, identify training and development opportunities for team members. Manage first level discipline and grievance issues for team members.
• Maintain the function of plant and equipment to include machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled).
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain and monitor stock levels of consumables.
• Co-ordinate the efficient use and organisation of resources and equipment to meet the production schedule.
• Plan for and support the implementation of new product development initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards - ensuring you can promote a 'Just Culture'.
• Ensure component work is undertaken in accordance with procedures from CMM’s and overhaul manuals.
• Liaise with the customer support team to facilitate achievement of efficient and effective customer service levels.

• Experience within Engineering Industry
• Team leadership experience within a production workshop environment
• Computer literate
