The Role
This role will be a key member of Quality and Technical team, responsible for material/product sampling and testing on site.
Main duties include:
· Full sample preparation – including collection of samples, using databases / software, recording, and completing relevant paperwork
· Routine sample analysis
· Sample checks for non-conforming product, finished product, bulk raw materials and packaged material
· XRF and NIR testing and full recording process
· Assist with complaint investigations

Criteria:
· A minimum of 1 years’ previous experience in a similar role
· Degree or equivalent in a business-related discipline (desirable)
· GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
· Working knowledge of NAV (desirable)
· Working knowledge of feed testing techniques
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work on own initiative and ability to work in a team
· Good analytical skills, numeracy accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent administration, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
· Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
· Flexible and adaptable
· Right to work in the UK
