Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurses to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences. You will play a key role in assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and are looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties
Patient Care:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments.
- Monitor and assess patients' health status, recognizing any changes in condition and reporting to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
- Update care plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback from other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care plans, treatments, and medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care provided, medications administered, and changes in condition.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to healthcare teams and management.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to patient documentation.
- Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that all parties are informed and involved in the care process.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including those related to patient privacy and safety.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Stay informed about the latest nursing practices, medical advancements, and changes in healthcare regulations.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and provide education on disease prevention to patients and their families.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of patients within the healthcare system.
- Participate in public health initiatives and campaigns as needed.
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration is required.
Experience – some nursing experience in a relevant setting (e.g., hospital, nursing home, community care) preferred.
Skills
