Stores Technician
We are seeking a skilled Stores Technician to join our team to help deliver scientific services by facilitating the smooth arrival and dispatch of goods. This role involves a mix of office based work and small-scale warehouse operations. Being part of a small support-based team allows for varied working week and a chance to share responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for organising dispatch of goods, ensuring all paperwork is correct for Customs clearance, and adherence to Shipping regulations.
• Responsible for keeping accurate electronic records of shipments
• Action receipt of incoming goods (including hazardous chemicals), and the delivery of consumables, chemicals and solvents around the site
• Deliver efficient goods-in and goods-out processes, including the safe shipment of Dangerous Goods according to ADR and IATA regulations.
• Monitor site consumable stock levels and ensure key materials and solvents are available for use when required.
• Conducts stock takes regularly and maintains accurate inventory records
• Monitor the levels/conditions of hazardous waste: assists in waste collections.
• Onsite support for Lab and Office teams

Ideal Candidate

• Highly organised and detail-orientated
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Experience in managing and maintaining inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous logistics experience
