Robert Half has an opportunity for a Billing Clerk with our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Your expertise in billing procedures and attention to detail will ensure our financial management’s accuracy and efficiency. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices and billing statements with precision and timeliness
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure data quality and consistency across all platforms
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications to execute tasks and maintain records
• Implement financial controls and procedures to optimize operations
• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and payments
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data entered into various electronic systems
• Maintain an organized record of all billing activities and customer account information
• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline billing processes
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Handle inbound customer calls professionally, providing excellent customer service
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledgeable in Computerized Billing
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
