We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant located in Merced, California, 95340, United States. This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of HR functions, providing administrative support to HR executives, and managing employee records.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily HR operations and administrative duties
• Providing support to HR executives in various HR projects, meetings, and activities
• Coordinating HR projects including meetings, training, and surveys
• Processing relevant documentation and preparing reports relating to personnel activities
• Managing and updating employee records in both hard and soft copies
• Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data
• Responding to employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations
• Assisting in the recruitment and selection process which includes screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
• Utilizing various skills such as customer service, auditing, and ADP Workforce Now to ensure efficient operations.
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian
• Knowledge of HRMS and About Time software
• Experience in auditing and conducting background checks
• Understanding of benefit functions
• Excellent customer service skills
