About the opportunity:

The Administrative Assistant role, based at Mercy Place Apartments, Seniors Living Village in Parkville, VIC will be responsible and accountable for the day to day activities of the office, ensuring that administrative and reception services are provided to residents, visitors and staff. The services provided must be of the highest quality whilst maintaining optimal efficiency and cost effectiveness. The incumbent will need to be thoroughly conversant with customer service within an Aged Care and/or Seniors Living setting and have the capacity to support the Retirement Village Manager and independent living residents.

This is a fixed term, part-time contract role until 14/3/25.

What you’ll bring:

Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Previous experience in a front office environment in a busy multi-faceted role.
Strong MS Office skills.
Efficient and effective maintenance of documents and data storage.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and or NDIS check
Current Covid-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
