Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with Centre Coordinator and other Dispute Resolution Branch (DRB) staff to deliver high-quality dispute resolution services under the Dispute Resolution Centres Act 1990 and other relevant legislation and DRB policies and procedures.- Talk with disputants from diverse client groups (both face to face and by telephone) in relation to a wide range of complex issues and assist them to resolve disputes, including by providing advice about DRB mediation process; managing difficult or challenging behaviours and/or emotional distress displayed by parties; providing dispute management coaching; and/or providing referrals to other organisations.- Manage an individual case load under limited supervision and in a timely and effective manner, accurate record keeping, assessment of suitability of disputes for mediation, coordination of arrangements for mediations and facilitations.- Assist the Coordinator in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with government and non-government agencies, to promote and support DRB services.- Undertake administrative tasks necessary to assist clients and support the operations of the service, including the use of computerised records management system, and collation and analysis of statistical data.
