Guided by our Values , your responsibilities will include:
Organisational Development: Design and implement organisational development programs, policies, and frameworks to enhance capability in alignment with the People Strategy. Focusing on improving productivity and efficiency while identifying and nurturing talent to retain an engaged and high-performing workforce. This may include the Performance Management Framework, Talent Identification and Investment Framework, Diversity and Inclusion Framework, Team Effectiveness Framework, Capability Framework, and Employee Engagement Survey.
Stakeholder Engagement and Delivery: Collaborate on organisational development initiatives focused on leadership development, talent management, performance management, and culture to drive business improvements and support the organisation's strategic direction. Execute People Strategy projects, including delivering leadership development programs, overseeing the internal coaching bench and Diversity and Inclusion Plan, participating in unit-level corporate project teams, and analysing employee engagement results.
Leadership: Guide and develop the Organisational Development Advisor to ensure successful delivery of activities. Coach and support business leaders in enhancing people capability to boost productivity and performance. Lead cross-Council project teams to implement various organisational development initiatives, using effective tools and resource management.
Monitoring and Reporting: Stay informed about relevant issues, policy obligations, industry trends, and opportunities to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the Council's Organisational Development offerings. Monitor, analyse, and report on the implementation of Organisational Development recommendations to improve the People Strategy, providing evidence to support executive decision-making.

Reporting to the Service Manager, People Development, you will design and lead initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness, engagement, and performance. This involves assessing needs, implementing development programs, and promoting a high-performance work environment.
