Rigger/Scaffolder - Permanent - INGHAM QLD

To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.
About the Role
Join our day work team at Victoria Mill as a Rigger/Scaffolder! Located in the township of Ingham, you'll have the opportunity to work in a serene environment known for its world-class fishing.
The Rigger/Scaffolder role is responsible for carrying out rigging and scaffolding duties across site as well as some mobile plant operation where required. Knowledge of WH&S regulations is essential.
This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, doesn't need close supervision and can work in well with others. In addition to working a day roster the position may require weekend work as well as some overtime.
The Opportunity
While the following are requirements in this role, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:
- Rigging and scaffolding HRW Licence
- Dogging and mobile crane HRW Licence
- Forklift HRW Licence
- Confined space entry and working at heights qualifications.
