Your role:

Mission

• Principal responsibility is to manage and maintain the technical ownership of the Atlas Copco Front-end Ecosystem, ensuring cross-business governance and alignment as the system scales across multiple brands, websites, and business areas. The focus will be on maintaining the technical setup, ensuring scalability, and managing cross-functional integrations, while supporting collaboration between web teams (e Commerce, product and corporate).

The Product Owner will lead the development and management of the Front-end Ecosystem’s roadmap, coordinating efforts between different internal consumers, ensuring effective communication with business stakeholders, and supporting the integration of new features and technical capabilities. This role interfaces strongly with brand owners, external partners, and other internal product teams to ensure the system serves the needs of the broader organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the technical setup and governance of the common Front-end Ecosystem intended for use by all teams delivering digital experience for Atlas Copco.

• Coordinate technical implementation of updates, new features, and enhancements across the organization, working closely with various design- and web teams and brand owners.
• Manage repository setup, code distribution mechanisms, and other CI-related topics.
• Manage and prioritize common frameworks in use by the ecosystem (i.e. versioning, dependencies etc.)
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions, keeping technical documentation up-to-date, and conducting technical onboarding for teams and brands adopting the Front-end Ecosystem.
• Manage the platform’s technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability across teams and brands.
• Decide and support on relevant architectural patterns to enable re-usability across supported systems and consumers.
• Work closely with the Web Platform Manager to manage demand from various teams, ensuring efficient prioritization and planning.
• Ensure effective governance by managing the Front-end Ecosystem’s consistency, integrity, and technical compliance across all platforms and brands.
• Oversee coordination with internal and external development partners for technical support and implementation.
• Collaborate with business control to manage budgeting and invoicing for business units using the Front-End Ecosystem.
• Lead continuous improvement of the Front-End Ecosystem platform, integrating feedback and ensuring alignment with emerging best practices and technologies.
• Maintain documentation and training materials, organizing technical training sessions for teams as needed.

To succeed, you will need:

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital product management or web platform management, ideally within a design systems or UX/UI context.

• Strong experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with large-scale, multi-brand web platforms, particularly within technical integration or governance roles.
• Experience working with Storybook for component management
• Proven project management skills with a focus on web technologies, design systems, and stakeholder collaboration.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Java Script, APIs) and how they integrate into design systems.

• Extensive experience of working with the React framework, including code distribution and the associated tools (Bitbucket, YML, NPM, Rollup, Vite, Webpack).
• Experience working with the monorepo manager NX (Lerna, Turborepo).
• Experience with design systems, front-end frameworks, UX/UI tools, and component libraries (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Knowledge of governance and scalability for Front-end Ecosystems across multiple platforms and brands.

Educational Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Product Management, or equivalent experience.
