Patrique Mercier Recruitment is proud to offer an exciting position for a German Speaking Anti-Financial Crime Unit Agent based in Athens, Greece. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about combating financial crime and have strong analytical skills. In this role, you will be part of a specialized team focused on identifying, investigating, and reporting financial crimes while supporting compliance with relevant regulations. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to promoting integrity in financial practices, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze suspected financial crimes involving money laundering, fraud, and other financial offenses.
  • Review customer transactions and behaviors for any suspicious activity.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings to support compliance efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
  • Stay informed about trends in financial crime and regulatory changes impacting the sector.
  • Assist in training and educating colleagues on compliance and risk management issues.
  • Participate in meetings and briefings related to anti-financial crime initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in German (both spoken and written) is essential.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Previous experience in anti-financial crime, compliance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage complex cases.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Athens, Greece, for this position.
