Principia Energy is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. Principia is a producer and developer of renewable energy projects in Greece. The business manages a diversified portfolio of wind, solar, hydropower and integrated battery storage technologies to help accelerate Greece’s transition to a cleaner and more sustainable future. As of June 2024, its portfolio consists of 65 plants under operation with a total installed capacity of 566MW, and an additional 2 solar parks under construction with a total capacity of 11MW.
Principia was established in March 2024 by its shareholders, Enel Sp A and by a fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management, having previously begun operations in 2008 as part of Enel Green Power in Greece.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advice in the area of corporate and commercial law.
- Draft and negotiate, in close cooperation with the company’s departments a broad variety of legal documents with main focus in corporate and business law.
- Support and advise on regulatory compliance matters and provide monitoring and assistance on policies’ implementation within the Group.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in corporate and commercial law matters.
- Previous experience in drafting of Minutes of the corporate bodies of legal entities with main focus in Societes Anonymes.
- Strong experience in Commercial and Corporate Law and its implementation.
- Experience in strategic transactions involving financial institutions and due diligence procedures.
- Knowledge of the energy sector regulatory framework shall be considered an asset.
- Working experience in a corporate -ideally multinational- environment is desirable.
- Law degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Experience in renewable energy or environmental law is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Greek and English.
- Place of work: Athens, Greece.
