Principia is a producer and developer of renewable energy projects in Greece. The business manages a diversified portfolio of wind, solar, hydropower and integrated battery storage technologies to help accelerate Greece’s transition to a cleaner and more sustainable future. As of June 2024, its portfolio consists of 65 plants under operation with a total installed capacity of 566MW, and an additional 2 solar parks under construction with a total capacity of 11MW.
Principia was established in March 2024 by its shareholders, Enel Sp A and by a fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management, having previously begun operations in 2008 as part of Enel Green Power in Greece.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial valuation of Greenfield and Acquisition/Disposal projects, supporting the steps necessary to finally present to the Investment Committee for approval.
• Analyze financing alternatives for projects (Greenfield and Refinancing).
• Develop business plans.
• Identify and measure the impact of risks of new projects to the value for shareholders.
• Update the financial valuation model to consider any regulatory changes and company’s standard practices.
• Update the valuation of projects in operation and under construction.
• Analyze the economic impact of different incentive mechanisms.
• Support other departments/areas of the company.
• Conduct in depth Financial Statement Analysis, Reporting, Financial Modeling & Projections. (Shares valuation, Investment projects valuation, financial restructuring, feasibility studies).

Requirements

• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Master’s degree in Βusiness, Finance, Accounting or Economics would be considered an asset.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office and financial modelling.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and support colleagues across the company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Proactivity and responsibility.
• Flexibility, multitasking and ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and financial acumen.
