Assistant Manager - Automotive Engineering

We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Automotive Engineering with a strong background in automotive service engineering. The ideal candidate will have workshop or service engineering experience and a proven track record of leading sizable teams, experience in fleet management is would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee automotive service operations, ensuring high-quality standards and efficiency.
Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Guide and direct fleet maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions and optimize service delivery.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service operations and fleet management.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automotive engineering and fleet management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive cars/lorry's/vans service engineering , with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience from logistic fleet service engineering teams (highly desirable)
Proven experience in fleet management, including maintenance scheduling and resource allocation.
Familiarity with Hong Kong automotive engineering standards and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or local certifications).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English are a must.
