Assistant Technical Services Manager (VMWare)

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparation of team budget
  • Ensure the Virtual Machine, Wintel infrastructure performance and develop recommendations for corrections or improvements in customers’ side
  • Propose Virtual Machine, Wintel infrastructure standard and utilities to be adopted
  • Manage and perform Virtual Machine, Wintel infrastructure administration functions
  • Participate in Virtual Machine, Wintel infrastructure system configuration design review
  • Assist in problem solving related to Virtual Machine, Wintel infrastructure system area
  • Develop the relevant staff with the right kinds and level of skill
  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the company, and carry out duties with high integrity
  • Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
  • Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor
Requirements:
  • University graduate in Computer Science or any related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of experience in Wintel server / infrastructure management
  • Solid experience in Virtualization infrastructure like VMWare, Sangfor, Nutanix, Hyper-V
  • Solid experience in Wintel based infrastructure like Remote App, Control-M, Right Fax, Active Directory, Share Point
  • Sound knowledge on Cloud based technologies like Amazon, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, O365
  • Sound knowledge on various infrastructure components, such as Linux, Unix, AIX, Network, Firewall
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation & negotiation
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Candidate with more IT experience will consider as Technical Services Manager
.
***Permanent Hong Kong Resident is preferred. Expected Salary in CV is needed for consideration***
