The appointee will support the Entrepreneurship Team of the Office, with the following duties:

Duties

Support HK Tech 300 (http://www.cityu.edu.hk/hktech300/) general operation which includes Angel Fund, Seed Fund and other acceleration programmes;

Handle the recruitment, promotion, and application and selection process of the funding programme;

Serve as the panel secretary for the selection interviews, provide logistics and administrative support for various panel meetings, including preparation of documents and reports;

Maintain close communication with startup teams, track their progress and understand their business and operations;

Assist in planning and implementation of collaboration activities and events; and

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the technology and innovation ecosystem or sizable public organisation(s);

Abilities to attend to details and work independently and efficiently under pressure;

Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders;

Good organisational and problem-solving skills;

Proficiency in computer skills and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
