Technical Officer (Laboratory Services)

Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration with Academics: Work closely with faculty to develop laboratory designs that comply with regulations while addressing their specific needs.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that user requirements are clearly understood and integrated into the design process.
- Site Monitoring: Oversee site activities, focusing on material management, adherence to schedules, and safety protocols.
- Post-Installation Management: Handle post-installation tasks, including testing, commissioning, and the transition of projects to the maintenance team.
- Occupancy Facilitation: Assist lab users in settling in post-handover by coordinating necessary fitting-out works.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by senior management.
- Degree Holders: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Higher Diploma Holders: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of responsibility and the ability to work independently.

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
