Venue Assistant (Shatin / Sheung Shui)

Duties:
(a) To provide services and facilities to hirers and the public as instructed by the venue management;

(b) To assist in typing, word processing and answering phone enquiries;

(c) To perform admission, ushering, and crowd control duties;

(d) To update / tidy up the posters and pamphlets on display;

(e) To assist in routine patrol inspection duties and facilities checking including designated outdoor areas surrounding the venues;

(f) To observe and report irregularities to the venue management; and

(g) To perform any other duties as assigned by the Government Representatives).

Requirements:
(a) A permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administration Region and be lawfully employable in Hong Kong

(b) Completed Form 5 or above, or equivalent

(c) Have good command of Chinese and English

(d) Be able to speak fluent Cantonese, basic English and Putonghua;

(e) Be proficient in typing, Chinese word processing and computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)

(f) Be physically fit for handling simple labour work

(g) Have at least 2-year full-time customer service work experience in one of the Performing Arts Venues or Museums operated under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and at least 1-year full-time work experience in customer services in public or commercial sector.
